This organization will work to raise public awareness of the scientific and technological skills and contributions of women as well as work with other scientific, educational, and women’s organizations to develop national and community programs. Dr. Deborah Overath 825-2467
The purpose of this organization is to learn more about multicultural-bilingual education and English as a second language (ESL) schooling, employment opportunities and their socioeconomic impact. To promote and improve the quality, the procedures and the philosophy of multicultural-bilingual education and ESL schooling through the exchange of ideas and practices between students, faculty, alumni, and community. academic disciplines at the university.

This organization will promote an increased knowledge of the science, design, development, instruction, languages, and applications of modern computing machinery; as well as promote a greater interest in computing machinery and its application and to provide a means of communicating between persons having interest in computing

The major goals will be a) to promote mathematics teaching as a career choice, b) to engage in community service related to mathematics teaching, c) to promote and support prospective teachers’ mathematics and pedagogical development ,and e) to disseminate information to students regarding various opportunities related to mathematics education (e.g., scholarships, and jobs). The purpose of this group is to promote the scholarly productivity of research and facilitate the professional development of counselors and counselor educators by collaborating with the Counseling Faculty, Doctoral Candidates in Counselor Education, and Master candidates in counseling.
